Seam Ripping
Thanks for all the well-wishes for Baby Girl. She's had a fun birthday so far - taking an early bath with her Mermaid Barbie was quite a treat.

I secretly love seam ripping...perhaps it isn't so secret since a friend gave me a seam ripper that is ergonomically designed for my birthday...

Ugh! I really hate seam ripping. I hope it goes quickly for you!

Seam ripping is my most dreaded thing to do when it comes to sewing! Generally I just set the project aside and start all over.
My singer likes to make Spider stitches too. Someday I would love to move up to a Bernina!

At least stitches like that are easy to rip out. I hate ripping stitches. I have been known to scrap whole projects that would require a lot of ripping. I'm trying to get over that.
Anywho, happy birthday to Baby Girl! I wish I would have taken an early bath (and had a Mermaid Barbie to join me!). Sounds awesome!

those ones are easy to come out . . . but I had a machine that wouldn't free-motion, no matter what I tried. . . hope that's not the case for you! Love that pink at the edge :)

Bummer, I hate when that happens. I actually had the same problem with my last quilt. I hope it goes by quickly for you, and I look forward to seeing the finished projects!

Hi there!!! Okay so now I know it's not just me... I have a Brother machine, and my stitches (on the back) always look like this - what did you end up setting your tension to? Help!!! :)

I had those horrible stitches afflict me not too long ago! Don't even remember how it got "fixed", it just seemed to fix on its own.
Hope it's not too tiresome for you to rip it all out!

I hate it when my machine does the spider stitch!
I love your pink quilt with the khaki...I think that's one of my favorite color combos
