So I'm trying to do a little each day to have a good amount of stuff for the craft fairs.
They are pretty close together so I won't have too much time to make more of something - and I want to have a good amount to sell as we are going on vacation to Costa Rica and TN in January and it will be nice to not have to worry about bills and stuff while we are gone.
Since they are both Christmas fairs I wanted to have a few Christmas items. I got some pine cones on Ebay and used German glass glitter and glue and glittered away.
I tied some twine on the tops so they can be used as ornaments too.
My son didn't even know what they were or if they were real - yep, no big pine cones here!
I also had a few wreaths left over from last year so I wrapped one with yarn last night while watching tv with the hubs. These are great for hostess gifts - I love the way they look.
And Amanda and I were talking about elastic headbands last week on Pinterest. They are really big right now and are mostly made out of fold over elastic.
I had a bunch that I had ordered to use as skirt waistbands but never did so I cut 23" lengths of it, tied one end in a knot, added a little Fray Check to the ends so they wouldn't unravel and packaged them up in these cute little tins.
They would make a great stocking stuffer - I have a bunch for the craft fair and a few to take to my soccer team.
Have you seen the new AMH flannel? So gorgeous. Of course we don't really need flannel blankets here but I couldn't resist so I thought I'd make some flannel baby blankets for the craft fair.
And - I'm working on this right now - oilcloth box bag tutorial.
