A few months ago I saw on Twitter that QuiltDad had put out a request for anyone wanting to join a small quilting bee based on Melody Miller's bee fabric.
Well, I love anything Melody Miller makes so I jumped on board. There are only 6 of us - John, Ryan, Jenny, Sarah, Deborah and myself.
We are doing it in a round robin style - sewing a whole row for each person so when we are finished, everyone will have a completed quilt front.
I got Deborah's package of fabrics first and she's doing things a bit differently. She wants us to make 7 blocks and then she's going to put them all together.
She sent some instructions for how to sew up the blocks and I have to say - what a great block!
I love it and am thinking about cutting into this pile of Hello Pilgrim (came in the mail today from Sew Fresh Fabrics) and making a quilt out of it using this block.
