I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's Eve (and day)! We have had some relaxing time just hanging out....I got sick on Christmas Day and have just laid low since. I'm feeling better now and last night we went to our friends house for some fireworks and food. I don't know about other states but Hawaii is CRAZY when it comes to fireworks. We had bought a big box at Costco and the kids had fun with their dads lighting them all. We left around 9:30 or so and came home to what seemed like a WAR!! It was crazy - aerial fireworks everywhere (and they are illegal too!!). Big booms like cannons and just craziness! We watched tv for a while and it wasn't too smoky in our house so we were ok. The fireworks died down around 1:30am so we were finally able to get to sleep. The kids passed out earlier but it was a pretty late night for all.
Now today, it has been so quiet - it's incredible. But it's all about to change since this game is starting right now. I think the entire state is watching. Everyone is so proud of our Warriors and this guy - Colt Brennan!
It is their first ever Bowl game and has just been an incredible season (12-0!!).
I made some tempura for lunch and we are going to have burgers, fries, and slaw for dinner. I thought about a cajun theme but this seemed easier.
Well, off to watch the game...Go Warriors!!!
