I'm seriously neglecting it in exchange for sewing.
I need to:
a. dye my hair (I've gotten all these grays since going dark - think the blonde was masking them)
b. shave my legs (I'm starting to think people live in the forest on my legs - and yes, I did go to the beach like this the other day)
c. take a shower, brush my teeth (today - don't worry - I did do all those things yesterday)
It's just too fun to sew. I did manage to fold a mountain of clothes but only because I was watching this.
So I sewed some of my blocks for my class tonight. (which I am almost not wanting to attend since it's the season finale of Top Chef!)
They aren't totally straight but I think they are as straight as they are going to be given my abilities. Tonight is the fun (as in scary, horrible) part. Triangles - ughh! I am sooo bad with these!
And a new pillow. Which I just sat down and cut and sewed.
I couldn't be bothered to go search how to do a mitered-corner pillow. No I could figure it out on my own.
Obviously I couldn't. Oh well, it isn't like the pillows spend much time on the couch anyway. They are thrown about, used for forts, shields, etc. I'm sure no one will notice. And if they do - I'll just say that's how it's supposed to be! (although when I do the other one, I will be looking up how to make one the right way!)
Off to dye my hair!
