No sewing this weekend...funny, especially since I have that huge pile of fabric to gaze at.
Saturday was opening day for soccer, complete with a parade and team potlucks.
(sorry for the blurry faces - but you know...)
Then I had a follow-up appointment for my contacts and the rest of the evening was spent watching the Olympics with the kiddos (Hubby had a basketball game).
Yesterday after church Hubby and I went on a date for my birthday (it's not until Wed. but this week is so packed we decided a weekend would be better for a date). We went to the movies and did some shopping and then went to a fancy, romantic French restaurant.
I'm hoping to get some sewing in today (after the house-cleaning of course). I finally got some batting to finish the giveaway quilt and I have to work on some skirts for a swap. Mostly I just want to sew so I can start in on the book :-)
