I finished the quilt a few days ago. It ended up being skinny but long.
It's perfect to snuggle under (all by yourself) - especially since we've been so chilly here (you know, like in the 60's).
It's been in heavy use since the moment I pulled it out of the dryer.
Today my sister came over and got a little sewing lesson.
She actually made a table runner.
I had her pick out a bunch of (pre-cut) 5" squares and we went from there.
It turned out really cute - I may need to make myself one now.
Baby Girl has been begging me forever to make her a "blue" bag and so today I finally made her one.
And as soon as I got the blue fabric out I decided it had to have a little embellishment. I had seen some free-motion applique before and tried it on her bag.
She loved it! I ended up sewing the straps on a little crooked but only because I was rushing to finish it. I don't think she minds though.
And here's the little project I'm working on for post #300 (which I just realized is the next post!).
