I haven't touched my sewing machine since last Friday...I think I burnt myself out last week.
I have, however, caught up on all the laundry and house-cleaning (it was a disaster on Monday!) - the laundry was helped along by a new obsession...
I just can't help it! It's probably definitely why there's been no sewing...my free time has been spent watching Season 1 and part of Season 2...I have to catch up before the new season starts so that my sister and brother-in-law can come over and we can have "theme" dinners (and drinks) and watch the show.
I do find it a bit depressing as there seem to be no redeeming characters but I'm still enjoying it - and I keep picturing Hubby in a suit like Don Draper :-) - boy, the 50's/60's sure were a different time!
I am planning on some sewing this weekend though - I have about 5 or 6 quilting bee blocks to catch up on - one is from March (sorry Wendy!).
We have one more ballet performance today at an elderly care facility (the girls' ballet class did two last week - one at an adult day care and another at an art gallery in Haleiwa) and then sports will be over for a little while.
I have a few posts to write too - one about Quilting for Babes (we are waiting on a few more packages but I'll post a list of everything we've received) and another to show some great gifts my mom brought back from New Orleans...
