I love when Mondays don't feel like Mondays - don't you?!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and for all those in the US, that your Memorial Day was wonderful!
We weren't sure what we were going to do but wanted to get a jump on the traffic so we went down around 9:30 am to our friends' house.
And ended up having a wonderful day kayaking at the beach with a few families - does it get any better?
(this is where they filmed the mermaid scene in the last Pirates of the Carribean movie)
Now we are off to a graduation party - busy day!

I used Jacquie and Katie's new book, Quilting Modern! It's amazing - seriously cannot recommend it enough!
This pattern is called Supernova and I'm already thinking about making another one with this same pattern - it's just so unique and fun!
