Don't you just love it when you type up a post and then something happens and it all just vanishes? Yep, me too!!
Anyway....I love this quilt!
It was such a fun and cheery quilt to make. I picked out a bunch of fabrics and then added more in as I went along.
I used Elizabeth's wonky nine patch tutorial.
For the back I sewed together a patchwork of fabrics and bound it in grey seeds from FMF.
For the quilting I went with large loops across the width of the quilt. I didn't mark anything - just started at the bottom and worked in rows all the way to the top.....love how much space I have on the Juki now!!
It's now in its new home with a happy little girl - and that makes me very happy!
I also made her a little pillow to go along with her big-girl quilt.
I used Elizabeth's new Refrigerator Magnets pattern - love it!! I already have another project I'm working on with the letters too!
I'd love to make a whole quilt like Krista's here.
I have a few things planned this week - typewriter zip pouches with my new text prints, a custom word pillow and finishing up my Pillow Swap pillow.
Oh - and some beach time tomorrow too!
